Pecan Video
Pecan was the first investment ever made by Futurebuilders. We invested £124,750 in Pecan, including a £29,150 revenue grant, £20,600 capacity building grant and £75,000 loan, to support Pecan in a pilot of the WorkOut Programme, which facilitates the long-term needs of ex-offenders in Peckham and Southwark. WorkOut works with existing social care providers, bringing organisations together as a whole, to make it easier for ex-offenders to find a transitional job and a daily wage as soon as they leave prison.
The Futurebuilders investment has provided a platform for securing contracts and help with contract pricing and negotiation.
