The Fynvola Foundation, a charity for adults with learning disabilities
formed with the actor Hugh Grant as its patron, has received nearly
£1.4m of investment from Futurebuilders England to help fund its
start-up.
The Fynvola Foundation will be operating the first specialised care
home of its kind in the UK, offering dedicated nursing care to older
people with learning difficulties.
Futurebuilders invested £1,390,600 in the Foundation to support it in
the purchase and refurbishment of a property in Kent that will provide
a range of specialised nursing and palliative care facilities in a
secure environment.
