Biography

Jolyon Larkman, Charity Bank

Jolyon Larkman is Deputy Chief Executive of Charity Bank, where he is one pair of the “four eyes” required by the Financial Services Authority to manage a bank. He is responsible for control functions, including risk management, operations, finance and treasury.

A law graduate, Jolyon joined Charity Bank in March 2002. Prior to that, he spent over twenty years at Barclays Bank, with most of his career having been spent on the international side of the business. His final job at Barclays was as Managing Director, Institutional Banking, a strategic business unit responsible for the provision of sterling and euro based services to banks, building societies, insurance companies and investment banks around the world.

His voluntary activities include being non-executive director of Heritage Care, where he is also treasurer and chairs the Audit and Risk Committee. Heritage Care provides care services to three groups of service users: elders, learning disabled and mental health. He is also a member of the Grants and Scholarships Committee of the London Chamber of Commerce Commercial Education Trust.

Jolyon is the chair of Futurebuilders’ Audit Committee.
