Jeremy Wagg, Unity Trust Bank
Jeremy is an Executive Director of Unity Trust Bank. His ambition whilst at Unity Trust is to grow Unity’s investment in the Social Economy Sector over the next ten years and significantly increase the funding they provide back to the sector.
Jeremy started his career as a modern languages teacher but then switched to the world of commercial banking. As a banker he worked for Hill Samuel Merchant Bank specialising in leveraged buy-outs and lending to manufacturers. During the 1990s he joined the Co-operative Bank where he ultimately became responsible for all of their corporate offices south of Sheffield. He joined Unity Trust in 2001.
He has been married for over 20 years and has two teenage children. Jeremy is an avid reader; he plays tennis and supports his local rugby team, Pertemps Bees.
Jeremy is a memebr of the Futurebuilders’ Investment Committee.
