Peter Clarke, Charity Bank
Peter Clarke is a Director and Trustee of Charity Bank. He is also the Chairman of the Bank’s Credit Committee. Peter has been involved with the development of social investment since the founding of Investors in Society, where he was a member of the credit committee and the founding committee.
A career Banker, Peter began his career in the Clearing Bank sector and has worked in all areas of domestic banking. He has also held a variety of senior positions in merchant banking, trade finance and factoring before moving in to international banking. Here he held general management positions in British, German and Japanese Banks with responsibility for the development of their European operations.
Peter is the Honorary Treasurer of Futurebuilders as well as the vice-chair of the Investment Committee.
