Funders Forum

The Futurebuilders Funders Forum has been established to enable us to investigate joint funding options for third sector organisations. If you are interested in applying to Futurebuilders, and your proposal could potentially benefit from co-financing, the Funders Forum will help us determine whether you are able to secure any part of your investment from a commercial lender.

The Forum enables us to work in partnership with a range of charity specialist commercial lenders to enable a greater scope for third sector organisations to access the funding they need to successfully deliver public services. Relevant proposals will be passed to panel of funders, who will decide whether they would be interested in a co-financed investment. Futurebuilders will offer a balanced recommendation to customers based on ?best value?.

The Forum is designed to help organisations who do not have a strong relationship with their bank or would like a second opinion on as proposal. It will also help create a two-way referral system, by which commercial lenders will refer ineligible applicants to us, and vice-versa.

Lenders taking part in the Forum include:

  • Unity Trust Bank
  • Kingdom Bank
  • Bridges
  • Charity Bank
  • Co-op Bank
  • Venturesome
  • RBS/NatWest
  • Triodos Bank
  • Co-operative & Community Finance Fund
  • Barclays Bank  >
  • Big Invest
  • Unlimited

If you are interested in getting your proposal assessed in terms of eligibility for co-financing, please call our enquiry line on 0191 261 5200.  Please note that applications for Futurebuilders have now closed so no furthur enquiries will be accepted.
