Bidding for the Future Jobs Fund?

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Future Jobs Fund is a £1billion Fund to support the creation of around 150,000 new jobs for long term unemployed young people and others who face significant disadvantage in the labour market.

The DWP wants to encourage innovative bids and is keen to work with local authorities, social enterprises and charities, who are invited to submit bids for funding.

Bids can come from anyone, but DWP have expressed a strong preference for partnership bids, as one of the criteria is that bidding organisations provide a minimum of 30 jobs.

• Our Modernisation Fund ? which offers five year interest-free investments of  between £30,000 to £500,000 to support organisations that are providing services affected by the recession.
