The Business Support function is a new element of Futurebuilders' business and will significantly enhance the scope and extent of support they are able to provide to investee organisations.  As head of the function you will be responsible for setting up the unit, building a team and ensuring that all processes, procedures and resources are in place to deliver high quality, relevant advice and support, across a wide range of business issues.  This will include areas such as financial management, HR & OD, property and procurement.  The role will mix direct client work with management and development of the team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation and play a key role in the development of services to the third sector. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a client-facing advisory role and will posses a broad range of business management skills.  Given the importance of financial advice, they are likely to be a qualified accountant or have significant financial experience.  Excellent communication and relationship building skills will be accompanied by leadership and business development expertise.  Well development commercial acumen will be essential.

The role has a national remit so candidates will need to be prepared to travel when required.
