Chair
Stephen Bubb is Chief Executive of the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (acevo). He is also Secretary General of EUCLID (the European Third Sector Leaders Network) and non-executive Chair of the Adventure Capital Fund which invests in community enterprises, has been in major national roles in the TGWU, NUT and AMA (Association of Metropolitan Authorities) and was a Founding Director of the National Lottery Charities Board.
Deputy Chair and Chair of the Investment Committee
Harriett Baldwin recently left her role as Managing Director at JPMorgan Asset Management to concentrate on her political career as a Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for West Worcestershire. She is an influential policy maker who together with Greg Clarke constructed the Conservative Party policy report on social enterprise.

Mike Baker is Chief Executive of the Local Investment Fund and a founding member of the Adventure Capital Fund.
Christopher Banks CBE is the founder/CEO of Big Thoughts, an award-winning leader in informal food and drink. He is also the Chair of the Learning and Skills Council and Deputy Chair of the National Employment Panel. He was previously Managing Director of Coca-Cola GB.
Anthony Cann is a Board member of the Adventure Capital Fund and a former senior partner at Linklaters.
Simon Davidson is a Board member of the Adventure Capital Fund and Principal of Exponent, an independent investment and advisory firm dedicated to UK private equity.
Rupert Evenett is Chair of BTCV, the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers. Previously he was a founding Director of Government body the Shareholder Executive, advising the Government on shareholder disciplines for publicly-owned corporations, which he came to after a career in investment banking with Merrill Lynch.
Anne Tutt is a Board member of the Adventure Capital Fund, and former Managing Director of RL Poke Europe, UK and Benelux.
Board Members
Kevin Carey has been the Chairman of the Ofcom/DCMS Community Radio Fund Panel since 2005. He is the founder and Director of humanITy, an e-inclusion charity and Vice Chair of the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB). He is an adviser to the EU and UK Government on digital accessibility and a regular contributor to Ability Magazine and Managing Information. He was a member of the Ofcom Content Board from 2003-2006.
Manjeet Gill is a Board member of the Adventure Capital Fund and Corporate Director Neighbourhood Services at Nottingham City Council.
Anne Longfield OBE is Chief Executive of 4Children. She has served on several national strategic Boards, including the Youth Justice Commission and the DCSF Third Sector Forum and was seconded to the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit, Cabinet Office as a Strategic Policy Advisor in 2001.
Rob Owen is Chief Executive of St Giles Trust. He was previously Director of EMEA Emerging Markets Equity Sales Teams at HSBC Investment Bank and ABN-AMRO.
Russ Peters is a Board member of the Adventure Capital Fund and a former Director of P&O.
John Tizard is a Board member of the Adventure Capital Fund and Director of the Centre for Public Service Partnerships at the University of Birmingham. He is a former Group Director of Government and Business Engagement for the Capita Group plc.
Dame Jo Williams DBE is Chief Executive of Mencap and former Director of Social Services in Cheshire. She is Co-Chair of The Sounding Board, advising the Department of Health Policy on work with the third sector, co-chair of the Learning Disability Coalition, and a Member of the national Learning Disability Task Force.
Fred Worth a Board member of the Adventure Capital Fund and a trustee of Mencap. He held senior executive roles in Mowlem plc and was finance director of Osmetech plc and Anadigm and is a Non Executive Director of North Staffs Combined Healthcare NHS Trust.

Robert Banner OBE is the Chairman of Rethink, Non-Executive Director of Hanover Housing Group and Non-Executive Chairman of Morgan Brookes plc. His executive career was as a Finance Director and Executive Chairman in IT consultancy and property development companies.
Peter Clarke is a Trustee and shareholder of Charity Bank Ltd, and was a member of the previous Board of Futurebuilders England. He was previously Deputy General Manager of The Daiwa Bank Ltd.
Craig Dearden-Philips is the founder/CEO of Speaking Up, an internationally respected and award winning UK disability organisation. He is also a Social Enterprise Ambassador.
Kenneth Ibbett is a Senior Partner at Lynx Capital Ventures and was previously the Chairman of Virgin Media Group.
