We no longer have a formal application form. To begin the application process, please follow the steps below.
To help you better understand how an application to Futurebuilders works, we have also put together a handy step-by-step guide outlining the application process.
1. Check that you are eligible to apply
Make sure you are eligible to apply to Futurebuilders by looking at the general eligibility checklist. You can print a copy which might be helpful if you need to discuss your loan application with other people in your organisation.

We have several financial products. Make sure that you have chosen the right product for your organisation before you submit your loan application. Also check the specific eligibility criteria for your chosen product.
Choose a product3. Get prepared for the application
To apply, make sure that you are prepared when you get in touch with us. We will expect you to:
- Be available to discuss your loan application on the phone
- Provide annual accounts and up to date management accounts for your loan application
- Provide a breakdown of the costs the investment is needed to cover
- Provide contact details for your potential purchaser
- Explain how your organisation is constituted and confirm that it is willing and able to apply for loans
- Explain the details of the contract you plan to bid for and your reasons for believing you have a strong chance of winning it
- Explain why you need investment and what costs you need it to cover
- Explain how you plan to repay the loan, if you are applying for one
4. Contact us to begin the application process
We no longer have a formal application form. Instead, you should contact us to begin the application process. You can do this by:
- Submitting an enquiry
- Sending us an email
- Phoning our enquiries line on 0191 261 5200
However you choose to get in touch with us to apply, make sure that you are prepared. For a full investment we will normally come and see you, but for some of the smaller funds a phone call may be enough.
