Boots Charitable Trust has financial assistance available to support work undertaken by charities and small voluntary organisations benefiting the Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and Erewash areas. The Application deadline is the 07 October. Contact the Boots Charitable Trust for more information.

Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting tenders for a contracting opportunity that is available for the delivery of the Children’s Centre Lead Agency Function at two centres in Oldham. The duration of this contract is between one and two years. The application deadline is the 7 October. The Cabinet Office is offering financial assistance to small voluntary and community groups to continue or expand their work with the local community in Northamptonshire. Applicants may receive no more than £5,000, either as a single grant or cumulatively over the three-year period of the programme. Applications are due by 9 October 2009. Veolia Environmental Trust is offering financial assistance to voluntary and community groups throughout the UK to carry out environmentally focused projects in areas close to landfill sites. Staffordshire County Council is inviting bids for a contracting opportunity for the provision of training for the Early Years Workforce in Staffordshire.
