In response to demand from within the sector, Futurebuilders England is helping to create a pilot consortium, to test an approach for delivering the efficiencies and economies of scale many in the sector believe are needed to help charities compete more effectively with the private sector for the billions of pounds worth of major public service contracts up for tender over the next six months.

Futurebuilders is looking for partners to join the consortium, which will pilot an approach for pooling expertise and resource for the core services associated with tendering for contracts – such as bid writing, financial modelling, contract negotiation and performance management.
