All Saints
With a vibrant community presence and massive building site at their disposal, All Saints Church in Birmingham was keen to develop and expand its community services, with the support of a Futurebuilders investment.
All Saints originally received a £13,140 development grant in 2004 to build their capacity to that of an organisation planning to create an integrated community and health care centre in Birmingham. The grant helped All Saints to develop its strategic financial planning and its relationships with potential purchasers.
The organisation then re-applied for full investment and in 2006 received a £1.1 million investment from Futurebuilders to develop a new community centre. The development will include a new hall, medical centre, a community café, and purpose built facilities for youth work. At its completion, the centre will also include facilities for drama, music and other arts events.
