BID Services with Deaf People
BID Services with Deaf People is a large, regional charity. A Futurebuilders investment of £2.5 million was matched with a £1 million contribution from BID, to build a new deaf cultural centre, which houses the charity's staff and offers extra facilities for its users.
Opened by HRH Princess Royal in September 2007, the Deaf Cultural Centre has helped BID in its strategic aims to expand services across the Midlands for deaf and hard of hearing communities.
