The Bridge Project
The Bridge Project was set up in 1984 by a group of concerned professionals and local people to provide support and help to drug users in Bradford. The Bridge Project gradually expanded throughout the 80s and 90s as the number of clients and their needs grew. The service was developed to help ex-users reduce their chances of going back to drugs and now incorporates a needle exchange, day care centre, drop-in services, and support for female sex workers.
